Financing Agreements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Financial Contract Management Specialist is a key member of the Finance Department, and responsible for managing the financial aspects of grants, ensuring compliance with grant agreements and GIZ financial regulations and guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>The specialist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>checks the incoming payment requests and financial reports from the partners in the frame of financing agreements (grant agreements and local subsidy agreements) ensuring accuracy, correctness, and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>ensures that the grant funds are utilized effectively and in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>prepares the payment\/settlement voucher.<\/li>\n<li>maintains related data systems and\/or Excel lists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Invoice checking<\/strong><br \/>\nFinancial Contract Management Specialist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>checks the incoming invoices for formal, factual, price and tax correctness.<\/li>\n<li>votes and clarifies the facts in case of discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>prepares the vouchers for payment\/settlement.<\/li>\n<li>records the invoice verification in SAP.<\/li>\n<li>monitors the document run.<\/li>\n<li>substitutes in the bank and cash payment.<\/li>\n<li>regularly monitors real accounts (liabilities, receivables) related to purchases, contracts and financing agreements and reports regularly to the projects and the management.<\/li>\n<li>carries out invoice checking tasks using SAP and regularly prepares financial documents.<\/li>\n<li>supports the copying, distribution, filing and archiving process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3. General services for GIZ-assisted projects\/programmes\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Financial Contract Management Specialist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>supports the projects in financial matters to ensure compliance with GIZ rules, regulations and standards.<\/li>\n<li>trains office and project staff in financial matters with constant feedback after the invoice verification process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4. Other duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Financial Contract Management Specialist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reports all problems with financial administration and compliance without delay.<\/li>\n<li>is responsible for filing in accordance with GIZ rules.<\/li>\n<li>performs other duties and tasks at the request of management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B. Required qualifications, competencies and experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or in a similar field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years of proven professional experience<\/li>\n<li>At least 3 years of hands-on experience in the financial management of grant agreements or relevant field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Knowledge, additional competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Native in Turkish, business fluent in English.
