RI invests in four broad program sectors:\u00a0 Economic Opportunity, Education, Health, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.\u00a0 We design our programs to incorporate The RI Way:\u00a0 local participation, integrated programming, the development of civic skills, and complementary partnerships including with local NGOs, governments, and the private sector.\u00a0 RI supports solutions that reinforce and improve upon existing in-country systems. Middle East Region<\/p>\n

RI in the Middle East has programs in six countries – Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, T\u00fcrkiye and Yemen, with a focus on the 4 main RI sectors: Health, WASH, Education and Economic Opportunity.<\/p>\n

Relief International currently employs 3900 staff (direct and indirect) in the region and has a range of emergency response and development programs valued at 70 million USD on an annual basis.<\/p>\n

Position Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Under the supervision of the Technical and Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Director for the RI Turkey program, the Protection and Inclusion Coordinator is responsible for building the RI strategy about protection and inclusion. S\/he is responsible for establishing\/reviewing all the technical and programmatic guides related to protection and inclusion to ensure mainstreaming of protection and inclusion across all RI programs in Turkey. Additionally, the Protection and Inclusion Coordinator manages relationships with local protection-related authorities, working groups, national and international NGOs, other service providers, and beneficiaries, including supporting national advocacy and influencing. S\/he is responsible to build the capacity of RI staff, partners, and stakeholders about the disability and inclusion mainstreaming.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities and Duties.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Building RI strategy about Protection and Inclusion:<\/p>\n

lead strategy development and the technical design and implementation of high-quality programmes that deliver change for persons with disabilities and other deprived groups in both emergency and development programming.
\nuse her\/his in-depth contextual understanding, technical and practical expertise, and relationship building skills to define and deliver our strategic ambition for Disability Inclusion
\nUnder the lead of the MEALTECH Director and in coordination with relevant staff, support the development of methodologies and tools for assessment, surveys, and evaluation about the protection and inclusion. Use the findings of these surveys to feed RI strategy and programming.
\nEstablishing\/reviewing all the technical and programmatic guides related to protection and inclusion:<\/p>\n

supports the design and implementation of disability inclusive monitoring and evaluation systems to demonstrate impact, while sharing learning across our programmes, teams and partners.
\nwork closely with relevant RI departments\u2019 colleagues and with partners, building their capacity about disability, inclusion, and protection.
\nParticipate in developing the new projects by providing input for the technical design, logic framework, the targeted beneficiaries, and cross-cutting issues to ensure that the whole structure has protection and inclusion mainstreaming.
\nstrengthen case management approach by updating the case management guide, building the capacity of case managers in the field, and analyzing regylarly the findings of case management approach applied by Ria and partners.
\nStrengthen the referral system of RI and partners by update the tools, train the team, and analyse the findings.
\nCoordinate with MEAL Team to ensure all needed data related to protection and inclusion are addressed in the databases and other visualization tools.
\nParticipate in programmes data analysis and provide the needed feedback in terms of the mainstreaming of protection and inclusion in the programming.
\nCapacity building:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Develop tools to conduct capacity need assessment for RI staff and partners in Disability Inclusion mainstreaming.
\nDevelop a detailed work plan and capacity building plan to ensure RI staff and partners have the required knowledge about mainstreaming disability and inclusion in the program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
\nProvide training for stakeholders on disability and inclusion mainstreaming.
\nPlay as a focal point with working groups and other stakeholders:<\/p>\n

Represent RI in all related working groups.
\nsupports national advocacy and influencing, while driving strategic partnerships for new business development.
\nRepresent RI in internal and external meetings as requested by line manager, such as the RI programmes quality meetings, and meetings with the partners when necessary.

Uphold and promote RI\u2019s commitment to ensuring the safeguarding and safety of the vulnerable communities we serve.
