The Service Unit serves as a center of excellence for commercial, administrative, and logistical services, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compliance in project implementation.<\/p>\n<p>The SU\u2019s mission is to create and maintain optimal working conditions by harmonizing processes, enhancing service quality, and enabling technical teams to focus fully on their core mandates. It brings together the areas of financial management, procurement and contracting, management of financing arrangements, event and travel management, and administrative support under one coherent structure.<\/p>\n<p>This strategic reorganization aims to professionalize services, promote digitalization, and establish consistent standards across all projects. The Service Unit works hand-in-hand with projects and the Country Office to deliver smooth, reliable, and high-quality services that directly support GIZ T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s goals of organizational effectiveness, accountability, and sustainable impact.<\/p>\n<p>This position offers an opportunity to contribute to project delivery across T\u00fcrkiye in a backbone role.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Main Tasks and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inventory Management (documenting new inventory items in the system, documenting user and location of the item as well as labelling items) for the entire GIZ T\u00fcrkiye country portfolio ensuring continuous accuracy of inventory items<\/li>\n<li>Disposal and\/or clearing of inventory items for the entire GIZ T\u00fcrkiye country portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Performing inventory reports on an annual basis for the service unit and the entire country portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Harmonizing inventory reports from all the projects in the T\u00fcrkiye country portfolio and establishing a new inventory list for the service unit<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring eligibility of inventory items under third party fund regulations (such as EU and ECHO)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>The brief profile is not intended to provide a full and complete description.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Where appropriate and reasonable, the position holder is willing to perform tasks outside the scope of the job description.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Required qualifications, competencies and experience<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Education<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree (BA) in Business Administration, Management, or in a relevant field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 3 years of proven professional experience in Administration, Accounting, Controlling, Procurement of Goods\/ Services or in similar tasks would be an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook), and digital filing systems.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of record management principles, inventory control, and audit readiness requirements would be an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Native in Turkish, business fluency in English is a must.<\/li>\n<li>Strong service orientation with a proactive, solution-focused, and efficiency-driven approach.<\/li>\n<li>Accountable and reliable, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all administrative processes.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills, capable of working in a multi-project, multicultural environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in managing changing priorities and workloads.<\/li>\n<li>Takes ownership of assigned tasks and outcomes; proactively corrects errors.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to enhance skills and\/or upskill as required by the tasks to be performed \u2013 corresponding measures will be agreed upon with the management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates are requested to apply through our Job Portal\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.giz-jobs.com\/turkey\/\">Job opportunities | Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (giz-jobs.com)<\/a> <\/span>\u00a0by filling in the digital application form as well as submitting\u00a0<strong>their\u00a0CV in GIZ T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s format, university diplomas (BA\/ BSc, MA\/ MSc, PhD) and a Cover Letter in English<\/strong>,\u00a0stating their qualifications and previous professional experiences.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for application is the\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>15th of February, 2026.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>GIZ is committed to gender balance and diversity without distinction as to race, sex or religion.\u00a0GIZ is encouraging persons with disabilities to apply for the position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENTION: PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN THE GIZ CV FORMAT.
