{"id":16594,"date":"2024-04-16T17:44:10","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T14:44:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stafimy.com\/tr\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=16594"},"modified":"2025-09-15T11:58:58","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T08:58:58","slug":"ankara-16-grant-specialist","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/stafimy.com\/ru\/?post_type=job_listing&p=16594","title":{"rendered":"Grant Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Title: Grant Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/s3.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com\/easyhrfiles\/2908098GIZ%20Turkey%20-%20CV%20Template.doc\">GIZ Turkey &#8211; CV Template.doc<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Period of Assignment:<\/strong> 5 months with possibility of extension<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Ankara<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> Participatory, Inclusive and Green Recovery for Local Public Services in Host Communities Project<\/p>\n<p><strong>A.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Main Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages all contractual and financial aspects of Local Subsidies and Grant Agreements, and ensures that the administration of these financing agreements functions well in accordance with GIZ and the project standard procedures<\/li>\n<li>Supervises project partners (NGOs and others) in complying with GIZ procedures, clarifying queries on financial reports, financial planning, and monitoring of funds, as well as accounting of granted projects<\/li>\n<li>Conducts commercial and legal eligibility checks for recipients and follows up on audits related to Grant Agreements<\/li>\n<li>Organizes, designs, and conducts trainings on financial aspects of Financing Agreements for project staff and NGO staff<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to progress reporting to donors<\/li>\n<li>Acts as liaison to NGOs supporting Syrian refugees, one of the main beneficiaries of the project<\/li>\n<li>Supports the successful implementation of internal and external audits of the project<\/li>\n<li>Where appropriate and reasonable, the position holder is willing to perform tasks outside the scope of the job description<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Required qualifications, competences and experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education\/Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BA in business administration, social sciences or equivalent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of contracting and finance procedures<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of both GIZ technical implementation methods and financial processes<\/li>\n<li>Well experienced in preparing financial reports and supporting documents towards donors<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with NGOs supporting vulnerable groups<\/li>\n<li>Advanced working knowledge of ICT and analytical tools is required<\/li>\n<li>Able to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, knowledge of Turkish is an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other knowledge, additional competences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outstanding verbal and very good written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Prepared to travel extensively all over T\u00fcrkiye<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified candidates are requested to apply through our Job Portal <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.giz-jobs.com\/turkey\/\">Job opportunities | Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (giz-jobs.com)<\/a><\/span> by filling in the digital application form as well as submitting their <strong>CV in GIZ Turkey\u2019s format and a Cover Letter in English,<\/strong> stating their qualifications and previous professional experiences.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for application is the\u00a030th of April, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>GIZ is committed to gender balance and diversity without distinction as to race, sex or religion.\u00a0GIZ is encouraging persons with disabilities to apply for the position.\u00a0Remuneration will be in accordance with the candidate\u2019s qualifications and experience as well as local standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENTION: PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN THE GIZ CV FORMAT.
