{"id":16486,"date":"2023-11-30T00:31:57","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T21:31:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stafimy.com\/tr\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=16486"},"modified":"2025-09-15T11:12:35","modified_gmt":"2025-09-15T08:12:35","slug":"istanbul-marmara-region-turkey-16-security-risk-management-advisor-istanbul","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/stafimy.com\/ru\/?post_type=job_listing&p=16486","title":{"rendered":"Security Risk Management Advisor, \u0130stanbul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Title:\u00a0<\/strong>Security Risk Management Advisor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong>\u00a01 year with the possibility of extension<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u0130stanbul<\/p>\n<p><strong>A.\u00a0Main Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieve risk mitigation for national and international staff and assets of GIZ-Turkey in the area of responsibilities (AoR) as assigned by RMO<\/li>\n<li>Ensure dissemination and implementation of Risk Management Office policies\/procedures to all project staff in AoR<\/li>\n<li>Information management: collecting, collating and timely sharing of security-related information and recommendations with RMO<\/li>\n<li>Incident reporting, mapping, and analysis for AoR and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Develop and update security and crisis management plans for AoR conducting a security risk assessment of Areas of Operation (AoO)<\/li>\n<li>Provide immediate incident response in AoR<\/li>\n<li>Act as member of the AoO crisis management team<\/li>\n<li>Provide input to RMO for weekly, quarterly, and any other security reports<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and establish good relationships with national law enforcement, military and civil intelligence authorities, counterparts in the Diplomatic<\/li>\n<li>Missions, and municipal\/civic\/traditional leaders in AoR concerning security issues<\/li>\n<li>Conduct site assessments for offices, residences, and venues<\/li>\n<li>Support projects\/programmes in developing and updating location-specific SOPs and protocols<\/li>\n<li>Conduct security briefings for staff visiting AoR<\/li>\n<li>Advise project\/programme staff on security issues in consultation with RMO\/AV<\/li>\n<li>Advise on request for on travel clearances and related recommendations accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Organize security training for personnel in consultation with the Head of RMO<\/li>\n<li>Accompany field missions if needed<\/li>\n<li>Monitor security guards deployed in AoR<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the Security Company as per the matrix provided by RMO<\/li>\n<li>Capacity building and briefing of designated security focal points (SFPs) and facilitate security round table meetings with the SFPs of the offices and compile reports requested by the RMO<\/li>\n<li>Support the projects\/programmes in the implementation of generic country-wide SOPs.,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>B.\u00a0Required qualifications, competencies, and experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s\u00a0degree\u00a0in a related subject or equivalent professional experience<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5\u00a0years of professional experience in a related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated capabilities in planning, assessment, analysis, and executing site security-related operations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of the development\/humanitarian work and international organisations<\/li>\n<li>Security-related training courses are an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Advanced IT skills (Microsoft Office)<\/li>\n<li>Language skills (good spoken and written English, Turkish, and preferably regional)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent\u00a0report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Culturally sensitive and inclusive approach<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a cross-cultural and international environment and across teams diplomatically<\/li>\n<li>Good negotiation and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise work<\/li>\n<li>Good decision-maker and team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to act with discretion and dedication<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and\u00a0able to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and qualified internal candidates are requested to apply through our Job Portal\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.giz-jobs.com\/turkey\/\">Job opportunities | Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (giz-jobs.com)<\/a><\/span>\u00a0by filling in the digital application form as well as submitting their\u00a0CV in GIZ Turkey\u2019s format and a Cover Letter in English,\u00a0stating their qualifications and previous professional experiences.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for application is the\u00a0<strong>15th\u00a0of December 2023.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>ATTENTION: PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR CV IN THE GIZ CV FORMAT.
