We value our people and offer a meaningful and rewarding career, along with a collaborative and inclusive workplace where ambition, creativity, and integrity are highly valued.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ROLE PURPOSE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Mobile Team Lead will be leading a mobile team including CP and Education outreach workers and facilitators in order to increase our reach and access to Out of School (OoS) and relevant host and refugee community members through identification, information dissemination sessions, and awareness raising meetings. The project overall aims to strengthen educational access among host and refugee community children through an integrated multisectoral approach. S\/he will regularly monitor, support and supervise the daily, weekly and monthly activities of mobile team and ensure regular coordination with Protection and Education Coordinator. The lead will also regularly report Project Manager and collaborate with MEAL members.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>SCOPE OF ROLE:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Staff reporting to this post:<\/strong> 4, (Education and Chid Protection Outreach Workers, Facilitator)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide leadership, supervision and support the Outreach Workers on project\u2019 activities in accordance with agreed objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, support, and supervise daily activities of mobile team.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely implementation of the mobile team activities in close collaboration with Education and Protection Coordinator, partner(s) and relevant departments (e.g. finance, supply chain).<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate regular and on time monitoring and monthly reporting on mobile team activities including, work-plan progress and updating, IPTT data collection and analysis and monitoring of indicators, capacity-building plans).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that project delivery happens in strict adherence to security policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with and adherence to Save the Children and donor rules and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Map existing education and protection services in the district and revise regularly.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and follow up out-of-school children to ensure access to education.<\/li>\n<li>Support team members in actualization of activities including community-based information dissemination and awareness raising sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular community needs assessment in order to ensure participatory approach within all mobile team activities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the weekly and monthly workplan in coordination with Education and Protection Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out regular meetings with Education Coordinator, Protection Coordinator and MEAL members to ensure smooth operation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all actions on the best interest of the child are gender-sensitive and implemented in a manner that enhances the sense of dignity, participation and psychosocial wellbeing of children, youth and families.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that established international, national and inter-agency standards and guidelines are followed.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all mobile team activities will be implemented in line with the Child Safeguarding Policy\u00a0 within the program and that it is integrated into all aspects of the team\u2019s work.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that quality standards, research and global good practise is embedded in the project. Play an active role in gathering of learnings during the project, to feed into better implementation and any new project design.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that Common Approaches (CAs)[1] are systematically implemented and used by project staff in a high-quality manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the developed and\/or adapted content is of high quality and reflects the context and the needs of the target group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholders:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with partner(s) and stakeholders to revise mapping regularly.<\/li>\n<li>Support the organization of local coordination meetings on educational access and out-of-school children.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with relevant departments at government offices, and constituents to ensure the smooth implementation of activities and solve problems especially with Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Family and Social Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc\/BA\/BEng level education preferably in Psychology, Social Work, and\/or Educational Sciences with pedagogical formation, but other fields such as Social Sciences, Development Studies or similar can also be relevant or equivalent field experience.<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in the field of either education or child protection within humanitarian\/development sector.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in mobile team management (e.g. outreach and follow up)<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience and familiarity with working local authorities (e.g. municipalities, District Directorate of National Education (DDNoE), Ministry of Family and Social services)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge about community-based programming.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability.<\/li>\n<li>Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact and diplomacy.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work independently as well as in team to ensure timely results of high quality.<\/li>\n<li>Capacity and willingness to be flexible in difficult working circumstances.<\/li>\n<li>Able to travel to field sites where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to and understanding of child rights, the aims and principles of Save the Children, and humanitarian standards such as the Sphere Charter and the Code of Conduct.
